PETG RESIN
PETG is a transparent plastic in brief. It is a non-crystalline copolyester. The commonly used comonomer of PETG is 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol (CHDM), and its full name is polyethylene terephthalate-1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol.
Compared With PC, PVC, And Acrylic Sheets, PETG Has The Following Characteristics:
1. High transparency
The light transmittance reaches 88-90%
Density: 1.27g/cm3
Heat distortion temperature 70℃
2. Good chemical resistance: it can withstand the erosion of a variety of chemicals.
3. Good thermoformability: comparable to ordinary acrylic sheets.
4. Inexpensive and comparable to acrylic panels.
Sixth, non-toxic, reliable sanitary performance.
5.Good environmental adaptability, no toxic substances are produced when the waste is incinerated.
